Another Step Toward Safety for Samson Cree Nation

We are pleased to reintroduce the Tribal Law Enforcement Project, a community-led initiative focused on researching and advancing Tribal Law within Samson Cree Nation.

This project will explore how a Tribal Law enforcement system, grounded in Nehiyaw values, traditions, Miyonohk Âyâwin (safety), and Wahkôhtowin (good relations), could support the safety and well-being of our Nation.

As the project develops, community engagement will be a key part of the process. We look forward to sharing more information, gathering feedback, and creating opportunities for members to help shape this important initiative.

Together, we can strengthen our Nation, uphold Nehiyaw Pimatisowin, and build a safer future for generations to come.
