PUBLIC NOTICE: Public Works Use of Garbage Bins March 2026

The Public Works Department is asking for the cooperation of all homeowners who are entitled to 6-yard garbage bins. These bins are provided to support your household waste needs — please use them responsibly and respectfully.

We continue to see misuse of these bins, including unauthorized materials being disposed of and use by individuals who are not entitled to them. This creates extra workload, safety concerns, and significant costs to the department.

To help us continue providing this service:

• Use your assigned 6-yard bin for household waste only

• Do NOT allow contractors to dump garbage into your bin

• Report any misuse to Public Works immediately

If misuse continues, bins may be relocated or confiscated.
