Important Notice – Criminal Record Check (CRC) Processing Update
Please be advised that effective immediately, Criminal Record Checks require a minimum of six (6) weeks for processing. Requests submitted after the six-week cut-off will not be accepted under any circumstances.
This is especially important for anyone involved in upcoming election-related roles, staffing, or volunteer positions.
As a reminder:
• CRCs are not to be requested at the start of a hiring process
• Requests must be submitted only at the final stage of consideration
• Last-minute or expedited requests will not be processed
Due to high request volumes and capacity limitations, these timelines must be followed to ensure fairness and consistency.
Please share this information with your teams, committees, contractors, and volunteers as soon as possible.
